THE
MARCHING ARTS

I started playing trombone in the 6th grade. Little did I know, that would lead me down a path that opened up so many opportunities for me to grow and then lead. My career in the marching arts has been the most rewarding thing in my life. This activity is a massive part of me that I will always love.

This activity is hard. Marchers spend hours outside rehearsing a show that took months to design. A massive collaborative effort of students and educators must culminate in a performance to entertain. It is a process that everyone involved in the marching arts knows. It is a process that I love.
